The company has donated timber and high-quality topsoil to the community-based organisation as part of a scheme to enhance their outdoor space.
Underused ground at Leafair Park was developed into a more functional and welcoming area for members and the wider community as part of the community initiative.
Darren Farnan, Marketing Manager at Braidwater Group, said: “Braidwater’s ambition is to build better, more sustainable communities by supporting a wide range of local charitable, community and sporting organisations throughout the year.
“This latest initiative reflects our continued focus on meaningful engagement and long-term community benefit across all our developments.
“Leafair Men’s Shed is a valued community-based organisation that provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can come together to pursue practical interests, develop new skills, and build strong social connections.
“As a business, we are proud to support local groups and contribute positively to the areas in which we work.”
Topsoil is delivered to Leafair Men’s Shed.
The Braidwater Group is currently delivering ‘The Cashel’, a landmark housing development between the Ballymagroarty and Coshquin areas of Derry that is set to become one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe. The Cashel will eventually create a major new urban neighbourhood of approximately 2,500 homes, a new school, community amenities, green spaces, retail outlets and essential local services.
