Freehall Road is a new residential scheme in Castlerock, developed by Apex Housing Association in partnership with Braidwater Group and built by North 55 Contracts, providing 14 new homes to help meet housing needs in the local area.

Construction of the scheme commenced in March 2025, with the development completed in August 2026.
Located on Freehall Road, the development comprises a mix of houses, bungalows and apartments, providing modern accommodation for general, Category 1 and complex housing needs.
The 14-home scheme includes four two-person, one-bedroom general needs apartments; three three-person, two-bedroom Category 1 detached bungalows; five three-person, two-bedroom general needs semi-detached houses; one two-person, one-bedroom complex needs detached bungalow; and one two-person, one-bedroom general needs semi-detached bungalow.
The completion of the development represents an important addition to the provision of new housing in Castlerock, delivering a range of property types designed to respond to identified local housing needs.
