As part of the Braidwater Group’s yearly charitable programme and in line with our commitment to support the communities we work in, charities and/or sporting organisations can apply for funding that operate within a three mile proximity of our new development, Glenmona in West Belfast.
Glenmona will see the creation of a new mixed-use urban village by Apex Housing Association (Apex) under the guidance of leading house builder, BW Social Affordable Housing, which is part of the Braidwater Group.
Work first commenced on the site early in 2021 and the development will mature with over 650 social and affordable homes on the 75-acre site in the west of the capital city.
Along with the homes, the development will also comprise a community centre with MUGA (multi-use games area) pitch, two care homes, a neighbourhood retail centre, a hotel and a number of children’s play areas.
Recently, the Glenmona site on the Glen Road in Belfast took a significant step forward with the commencement of superstructures for the first new homes at one of the largest housing developments in Northern Ireland.
Application
We would like to invite a representative to explain to us the difference that your charity/sporting organisation could make to the local community, should you be selected to receive all or part of our donation.
Please submit a 750 word document including a relevant image outlining the work that your charity/organisation carries out and what you would use the funds for. Selection of the chosen charity will be based on what is perceived to be the most creative use of funds for the widest possible effect.
Please note that our donation may be divided among more than one charity and the selection of the chosen charities/organisations will be at the discretion of a Braidwater Group committee, set up for this purpose.
