Abbeyville Place in Newtownabbey, which was developed by house builder BW Social Affordable Housing for Connswater Homes, has been officially handed over to the housing association.

The new development in Newtownabbey consists of 35 homes comprising of detached and semi-detached homes and apartments. Designed to extremely high energy efficiency and sustainability standards, the project was completed one month ahead of schedule in April 2019. 

Built on a derelict site, the project has been instrumental in helping to regenerate the area and in July 2019 it was shortlisted for the Social Housing Award in the 2019 CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Awards.
