NHBC, the UK’s leading new home warranty and insurance provider, has announced that four Braidwater Group site managers and their teams have received its flagship Quality Award at this year’s Pride in the Job Awards.

Braidwater Group site managers Eamonn Devlin (Roe Wood, Limavady), Kevin Cosgrove (Beech Hill View, Derry/Londonderry), Ryan Tannahill (Black Ridge at Glenmona, Belfast) and Criona O’Hara (The Cashel at H2, Derry/Londonderry) have been recognised for the vital role they play in ensuring new homes are delivered on time, on safe sites and to the highest construction quality standards.
Widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the house-building industry, Pride in the Job celebrates site managers’ dedication to raising standards, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence. It is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry and the most prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers.
Judging is rigorous, with each site assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Ryan Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of the Braidwater Group, said:
“Pride in the Job is the most sought-after award in the house-building industry and I would like to congratulate Eamonn, Kevin, Ryan, Criona and their teams on achieving NHBC Quality Awards. Being recognised amongst the UK’s top site managers is a testament to their dedication, professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality homes for our customers.
“At Braidwater Group, quality is at the heart of everything we do. These awards reflect the hard work of our site teams and our continued commitment to building homes and communities that exceed expectations.”
From a field of 7,500 sites across the UK, 450 site managers have received a Quality Award in the first stage of NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2026, representing the top 6% of UK site managers.
Commenting on the awards, Cassandra Codling, Senior Regional Director at NHBC, said:
“Congratulations to Eamonn, Kevin, Ryan and Criona, who have demonstrated incredible dedication, passion, commitment and leadership to produce homes of exceptional quality. The judges look for site managers who go beyond strong performance and demonstrate qualities that lift a good site manager to an exceptional one.
“The competition is at the heart of NHBC’s core purpose to raise standards in house building. It inspires site managers to make their mark on the industry, earning the respect of their peers and leaving a legacy of homes built to the highest quality standards.”
The Quality Award winners will now progress to the next stages of the competition, with Seal of Excellence and Regional Award winners announced in the autumn before the national Supreme Award winners are unveiled in January 2027.
