Building on the success of its 127-unit Cloughan View development in Ballyclare, the Group is now incorporating the innovative low-carbon material across a range of its sites.

Recognised for delivering energy-efficient homes that meet the highest building standards, the Braidwater Group continues to prioritise sustainability in design and materials. The partnership with KORE represents a major step forward in the Group’s environmental strategy.

“At the Braidwater Group, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact across every stage of the building process,” said Rory Devlin, Buyer. “KORE’s Low Carbon EPS floor insulation provides an ideal solution – it offers outstanding performance while significantly lowering the carbon footprint of our developments. By choosing more environmentally friendly materials, we’re supporting our long-term goal of building greener homes.’’

KORE’s Low Carbon EPS Insulation delivers the same strength, thermal performance, and moisture resistance as its traditional EPS products – but with a substantially reduced carbon footprint. The insulation is manufactured using Neopor® BMB from BASF, which replaces fossil feedstocks with renewable resources at the beginning of the value chain, verified through independent REDcert² certification.

The Braidwater Group’s developments feature advanced insulation systems, high-specification materials, and modern designs aimed at providing energy-efficient, comfortable, and affordable homes for families across Northern Ireland.

The Group continues to explore innovative ways to further reduce embodied carbon in its construction materials, with KORE’s Low Carbon EPS now forming a key component in its green building strategy.
