Leading Northern Ireland house builder, The Braidwater Group, will be holding a community consultation for proposed amendments to an area within the Black Ridge development (also known as Glenmona) in West Belfast.
The proposal comprises an amendment to the previous employment zone, providing for 7 no. Class B1/Class B2 Business/Light Industrial Units and 36 apartments.
Approval was previously granted by Belfast City Council for a mixed-use development comprising of 653 homes, 2 replacement residential care homes, a mixed-use area including a local neighbourhood retail centre, as well as an employment zone.
An amendment has been submitted to this application to amend an area of the development that was approved for office units and light industrial units to instead create an additional 36 apartments and 7 business / light industrial units.
A drop-in community consultation event will be held in The Glenowen Bar & Kitchen on Wednesday 4th December from 2:00pm – 7:00pm, with members of the design team on hand to collect any feedback from local residents and to answer any questions.
