As part of the Braidwater Group’s support for local communities, charities and sporting organisations operating within a three-mile radius of our new development, The Cashel in Derry/Londonderry, are invited to apply for funding.
The Cashel aims to establish a dynamic urban community with over 2,000 new homes, a school, communal amenities, green spaces, retail outlets, and essential services. Phase one of the project, approved by Derry City and Strabane District Council in December 2022, marks a significant investment in the northwest, with an overall 8% increase in local households upon full completion.

Please send a 750-word document and a relevant image detailing your charity or organisation’s activities and how the funds will benefit the community.
The selection process will look at creative and impactful proposals that maximise community benefit. Note that funding may be distributed among multiple recipients at the discretion of the Braidwater Group committee overseeing this initiative.
