Built on a derelict site, the project has been instrumental in helping to regenerate the area.
Darren Farnan, marketing manager of BW, said:
‘’We’re delighted as for the second year in a row a BW development has been shortlisted for the Social Housing Award. This is once again a huge acknowledgement to the effort from the team on the ground, the sub contractors and all in the office for their approach to maintaining high standards and delivering within budget. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the team at Connswater Homes for their professional and co-operative approach to all aspects of the construction.’’
Nadine McMahon, development manager of Connswater Homes, said:
‘’At the core of Connswater Homes’ Development Strategy is the belief that well designed housing promotes settled and sustainable communities. Abbeyville Place is a testament to this and we are delighted to see it recognised with a CEF shortlisting. This scheme also demonstrates the effectiveness of working partnerships in addressing social housing need.”
The CEF awards showcase the best of the construction industry in Northern Ireland while celebrating the industry’s achievements. The winners of the social housing award will be announced at a prestigious gala awards event in October.
