The Braidwater Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence after being selected for the prestigious National Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Site Awards.

The successful Cashel team (L-r): Justin O’Kane, Cathal McCullogh, Ferghal Deery, Brian O’Kane, Neil O’Kane, Criona O’Hara, Avieen Daly, Sean McGurk, Ciarán McMonagle, Liam Doherty and Richard Rodgers.

The CCS National Awards have played a vital role in raising standards across the construction industry since their inception in 1998, celebrating sites that go above and beyond to improve the sector’s reputation. Widely regarded as one of the industry’s most respected accolades, the awards recognise outstanding contributions to considerate, responsible construction practices.

This latest success follows exceptional performance at both the Black Ridge development in Belfast and The Cashel development in Derry, with each site also achieving top marks in their most recent annual CCS Monitor’s Reports – further underlining the high standards consistently delivered on site.

Speaking on the achievement, Darren Farnan of The Braidwater Group expressed his appreciation to all involved:

“Securing a National CCS Award is a significant honour within the construction industry, recognising sites that have made outstanding efforts to enhance how construction is perceived.

Our teams at Black Ridge and The Cashel have surpassed expectations, not only meeting but exceeding the stringent standards required by the CCS, as reflected in their top-scoring annual Monitor’s Reports.

The successful Black Ridge team (L-r): William McIlhattan, Michael McCourt, Francis Peoples, Euan McGinis, Ross Gamble, Darren Johnson, Ciarán McMonagle, Neil McKeague, Gareth Gamble, Avieen Daly, Peter Cassidy, Tony Kervigan, Luke Gallienne, Ryan Tannahill, Oliver Doherty, Lenny Magee, Mark O’Kane and Colin Britton.

We would like to sincerely thank our head office teams, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Their continued dedication and collaboration have been instrumental in this achievement.”

A CCS spokesperson also highlighted the importance of the National Site Awards:

“These awards celebrate constructors who strive to be considerate neighbours – adding value to their communities while showing respect for the public, the workforce, and the environment.

Our Code of Considerate Practice ensures registered sites make a positive and lasting impact in the places where people live, work, and play.”

Ryan Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of The Braidwater Group, reaffirmed the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence:

“At The Braidwater Group, we remain focused on exceeding expectations and delivering the highest standards in home building.

The attention to detail shown by our teams, alongside the recognition received through both the National CCS Awards and top Monitor’s scores, reinforces our position as one of Northern Ireland’s leading house builders.”
